Coach Mike started working at Apex 2018 as a Senior Parkour Coach. In 2019 he was promoted to the Homeschool Coordinator, while also continuing to be a Senior Parkour Coach. He has been doing Parkour since 2012, and started coaching in 2015. When he’s not doing parkour, you can find Coach Mike in the ocean surfing, on trails hiking, or studying Marketing at SDSU.
Mike was born in Riverside, CA. He was raised in Kuwait from when he was one year old until he graduated high school. He moved back to the U.S. in 2014, and the San Diego parkour community was very welcoming. “I was able to make long-lasting friendships, make unforgettable memories, and have a sense of belonging.” His favorite color is blue, he loves monkeys and cheetahs, and his favorite food is Hamburgers with eggs.
